Welcome to the forum Dan,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The most likely donor for the IRS will be a Series I, II XJ6 or XJ12. Follow this link XJ https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj6-xj12-series-i-ii-iii-16/ to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link US Western - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Good luck with your project and enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Dan,
How Narrow minded of your wife to require you to finish one project before starting another! LOL Just funnin' ya.

Husband wants to do a similar project; put a Jaguar IRS under a 1952 Ford long bed 3/4 ton pickup. He has the Ford (rescued from some farmer's pasture), and the IRS. All that's left is to glue them together!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
