Default New to the Forum!

Hi all. I've got an '03 S-Type 4.2 V8. Joined to jump into a great knowledge base on Jags. I'm one of the folks looking to find a way to manually adjust the low-beam HID headlights, so that even if it auto-adjusts, the default beam height points higher from the ground. I've had the car about 2 years, and all I've had to do to it is keep tires and brakes on it, replace a frozen thermostat, and replace the auto-park brake motor. Not too shabby for a car that has about 113,000 miles on it and still runs and rides like new!

Coming here from South Bend, IN.

Thanks for all the warm welcome. There's a lot of great info in here I've read so far, and it's cool to be around a bunch who know so much of the in's and out's of these cars. Glad to join the ranks.

Lol yeah, kinda cheesey.... I'm just glad it runs well. When the day comes that something else fails, I'm sure I'll find some way to fix it here...

Thanks for the pointer! Nothing beats at-home fixes when you need them! I hit a deer last year, and both of my headlights got replaced under the insurance claim, so i was able to follow the instructions about turning on the lights and using the nylon screws to adjust my beam height. Before they were broken and the old headlight screws didn't work. Cool thing is, if/when the adjustment arms break on the new ones that got put in, I've got this fix that will save me a TON of money on repairs. Lovin this place already.
