Hi Guys
I must say that in just the few times I have used this forum for info, I have been amazed at the quality of help. Where do you find the time to answer all these questions.
I just bought a 1997 XK8 coupe, with 94K mi. I got it because my 1990 XJS has no passenger air bag, and good ABS brakes.
I also have a 2000 corvette Avelate, with over 500hp to the wheels LS6 motor in it. It just sits in the garage because my girlfriend is too scared to ride in it. The XK8 will end up being our fun car. and I will be parting with the others soon.;-(
I am looking forward to enjoying the XK8, I fear I will have to become an electrical wizard to keep this car going, but I have always enjoyed a challenge while working on my cars.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.
If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

Welcome corry! That's a good attitude to have. In the XK8 forum another member said "owning a Jag is like owning a horse. There's no joy in it unless you love taking care of it." While Jags can be dependable, they definitely aren't Toyotas. Of course, Toyotas aren't as enjoyable to drive, either.
