new to the forum, not new to jags
hey everyone - - Where to start...I own a 2002 Jag XK8 with 13,000 miles. Right now it is stock, but I'm planning on modifying it. I probably should have started with an XKR but the XK8 was given as a college present for getting a scholarship. I love the class, elegance, and history of the Jaguar name. I've been around jags ever since I can remember such as E types, XJS's, an XJ6, an XJ8, an X-type with the manual (fun car in snow), and a Vanden Plas.
Anyway, more about the current car. I'd like the car to be able to at least hang with E55s, vettes, M3s and so on while still being able to run happily on 93 and maintain reliability. So I'm thinking mid to high 12s in the quarter, around 185 top end, and maybe some handling improvements...and brakes, of course.
Well see where this journey takes me.
