Default New guy

Just wanted to say "hi". I've been reading all sorts of post for days now and have learned many new things. I have a 2004 X Sport with 54K on it and have to say no major issues so far. After spending about 3 hours reading the audio section I am kind of excited about an upgrade of my stocksystem, speakers or an amp or both.I've never been a member of a forum and never posted anything before so if I post incorrectly please let me know.
I have loved car my whole life and am pretty handy as long as I dont have to wire anything. I am in themiddle of a restoration of a 1977 Porsche 911, my first choice would have been an XK or XKE but too much $$$$$. I am doing almost everthing myself except the paint and you guessed it any wiring.
Just wanted to say hello and I look forward to talking with you all.

Welcome aboard Houston Jag.....good to have you with us.
Hope you enjoy the forum and find it a useful tool. There's some really good techs on site as well as knowledgable members to help too, so its all good.
How about some pics of your ride?
Maybe stop by the mug shot thread in the off topic section and see who's who, maybe add your own too.

All the best

Jim

Thanks All,
Sorry I havent replied soon but I've been over in the X type forum and forgot to come back to the main board. (still trying to find my way around)

Thanks BRUTAL for the PM's I might try to snugging up the bolts this weekend and see if that works before dropping the pan.
I am up in Kingwood, about as far from you as I can be and still be in Houston.

This is my 04' Sport. (if the pic shows up not sure I know how to post it yet)
