Hello all.
My name is Dennis and I am from Melbourne, Florida. I am new to Jaguar ownership. I have been a backyard mechanic for about 20 years. I have above average skills for a hobbyist I suppose, but I am by no means a master of anything mechanical. I have owned mostly older Porsche and Mercedes until recently.
I recently purchased a 2004 x type 2.5. It has motor issues which I am trying to work out. I am hoping that I can learn a lot from those of you who have been in this realm for quite some time.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
