Default A New Guy

Hello All---

I'm a former daily driver of a '96 XJ Saloon, who at present, drives an '02 Lincoln LS. As, I'm sure you know, at the time I bought the car new, FoMoCo owned Jaguar, and used a version of the AJ V-8 to power the eight cylinder version of the car.

After a series of circumstances I won't recount now, I got hooked on Land Speed racing and have now added the necessary accoutrements to pursue that 'hobby'. I'm, at present, putting together a fresh engine, having started with an AJ-27 core, using enough aftermarket components to considerably toughen the lower end in preparation for the power I expect to generate.

Since there is no such thing as enough technical input, I believe that this forum is a great place to have contact with. I will be most happy to reciprocate as I am able.

KS

Hello KS and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
