New Guy with an A/C problem
Hello. New to the forum. I have a 1984 Maserati Quatroporte, 911 S Targa and a couple of Fords. I have 50 yrs in the auto repair trade-mostly Italian and English vehicles. I am dealing with a 1989 XJ6. Repaired all of the door handles. Changed the brakes to a vacuum booster and eliminated the self leveling rear shocks. I am down to the A/C system. I have air exiting the cowl vents-moved along by the blower motors. Anyone have ideas?I need help.

Hello, Allen,
While it's true that Jaguar is a British car, the Climate control system sometimes isn't logical.
I'm not sure what section your car would fall under, but the Xj6 label was used for Many years past the series I. II. & III. They gave them different technical labels somewhere after 1986 and I'm not up on that.
Welcome to the forums though, from ElinorB.
