Well decided it was time to get a new toy. I really love the looks of the XJS but also considering a Benz 560 sl. Not sure which way I will go.

Found this sight to help do a bit of research on the XJS. Car will be strickly part time use. But want it to be capable of taking on a worry free vacation with out the need of getting it towed home.

Have a 88 XJS not far from here I will be checking out next week.

Any tips on things I should look for. Im sure being 22 years old it will need a few upgrades/maintenance issues dealt with. If I can get it for the right price, will I have any issue finding any needed maintenance parts?
