Hello everyone, I finally decided to actually join you instead of just reading the forums as an outsider. I have a 2000 XJ8 VDP w/ the 4.0L It's silver with the black interior. I love this car! Three years ago I went around to several auto dealerships looking for a late model, dependable, economical, "family" vehicle to purchase. When I saw this baby, lonely on the lot, my search criteria went out the window. I bought her on the spot and drove her home to meet the Mrs. Has anyone else's spouse just stared at them for hours? Anyway, my wife got used to the idea and does enjoy driving the car when she can. I haven't dug too deeply yet, but it seems to me that this was a daily driver from Chicago, IL. I have just rolled over into the 100k mileage, but she runs just fine most of the time. I will be posting a few questions here that are just outside my scope of knowledge. This looks like a great Forum to belong to. Thanks.
