hi all, my name is simon smith i am 42 and happily married with 3 lovely children. i am disabled due to a road traffic accident and thats why i am now the owner of a 2001 x-type 2.5 awd sport auto.(get major op tomorrow on left leg and foot and need an auto but always wanted a jag) i have had a few issues with my new purchase and this site has been invalueable so thought i would be polite and join and thank everyone for there help.

Congratulations on the new Jag. Hope your surgery goes well, I had my knee replaced along with various pins and screws after a car accident a few years ago. Works better than new, i still can't dance worth a darn, but I can predict the weather fairly accurately

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
