New Jag enthusiist
I recently had a 1989 Vandenplas. Currently raiding the yards for 1996 XJ6 interior components to be used in my current hotrod project. It will be a real classy hotrod if I can get all of the electrical systems working. I will wire the electric buckets to work without the memory function. I hear it's rather troublesome anyway. I have also to figure out the wiring on the steering column- lights, turn signals, wipers, telescope and tilt funcions. I need to disable the airbag so that it doesn't deploy accidentially.
The bucket seats and console are a tight fit but is sure is worth the effort. It looks fantastic. This project will take a couple years to complete. I'm in the parts gathering mode currently.
Jaguar has a great website for manuals, etc.

Welcome to the forum jawsmon,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
That sounds a great project. Solving the electrics will certainly bring some challenges.
