Unhappy New to jag and forum

I'm new to this forum and to Jaguar.

For the 35 years that I have known my husband he has always said he wanted a Jaguar. Well the time was finally right and one came our way.

1997 xj6 in great condition. Some minor flaws. Of course I was the one to test drive it and fell in love with it so it is now a part of our lives.

Living in Lawton oklahoma does raise one problem as there are no dealers here and we are probably going to be in some need of some help soon with a few things.

Check engine light that is on with a code of p0420 which I think could be major and a bad electronic tilt wheel that does not move but is no biggy.

Don't want to drive it to okc with red check engine light on. Help

Welcome to the forum acroosa,

Congratulations to you both on finally getting the Jaguar. That's some persistence!

Follow Norri's link to the appropriate section for your XJ6. Engine with 6, 8 or 12 cylinder determines which one as Jaguar used 'XJ6' for a lot of models from 1968 onwards.

Follow this link to the Southwest US Region section Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Hope the issues are easily fixed. Enjoy the forum.

Graham
