Hello everyone! I bought myself a 1976 xj6. The car was sitting in someone’s garage, supposedly never been driven or turned on since 1997. The tags on the car are from 1997 too. Anyways, the car won’t start. I’m not a mechanic, but I’m willing to learn. I’m overwhelmed, but this is my dream car, so any help or guidance would be much appreciated cuz I don’t know where to begin.

Congratulations on your new Jaguar Xj6 Series 2!
Not surprising it won't start after sitting so long. Engines need to be RUN!
You might have a little work to do, but when you're finished, you'll Know which car in the lot is yours without having to douse around with your key to see which one answers.
