Hey there
I am a new jag owner, just got an 82 vanden plas. I'm pretty intimidated by it and how much money I will blow on it (I am a college grad paying loans back etc), but my love for the ride outweighs that.
First thing I had to do after getting it home was put new tires on, and during the process my e brake got stuck. So the car is currently sitting until I figure out the cheapest way to fix. I'm not very good with cars but I'm learning and hope to find an honest mechanic to help me along. I put regular gas in it for the 2 hr ride home so that was my first big mistake. Any advice/help or if you're close, shoot me a message. I don't know a soul who is into them around here.
I also own a 98 vanden plas but it won't start; I'm looking to sell it.

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. I'll take a wild guess that's a typo on the Model Year!

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
