New Jag owner
Hello all. After a divorce and a few years of driving a $400 1982 Volvo 242, I decided to get me something nice. I found a 2005 XK8 Convertible that piqued my interest. It is right at 60k miles, and the price was right so I bought it. It's not the supercharged or anything fancy, so I never imagined how much I could enjoy driving a car. I've been reading the forums here since I bought her and figured it was time to join as a member.
Issues I have come across so far:
DSC system failure -
Passenger rear wing window not coming up after top closes - intermittent
They both look easy to address and am excited to work on it and T/S it.
The car is an absolute joy to drive - I am forever converted.

Welcome to the forum Moghut,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You can also visit the USA Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-northwest-washington-oregon-idaho-sw-canadians-64/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
