New Jag XK8 owner
Hi everyone,
I picked up my XK8 Convertible Monday and I am really having a good time.
The car has 90K on it and needs some TLC in the seat cover area and a few scratchs.
I have always wanted an XKE so this will be as close to that dream and I think I'm going to get.
Looking forward to fixing her up and driving sunny days with the top down on some winding roads.

Its always my pleasure to welcome a new xk8-r owner to the group! Those seat bolsters are always needing attention at 6-14 years old, for me, the dye job didn't last over a year, so I just bit the bullet and put new leather skins on both front seats and the center console. Best $1200 I ever spent on that car (well, that I could see and feel anyway) lol

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I look forward to touching base with you all and making new friends.
I have a long list of items ordered and have been reading and learning from the many ideas and suggestions found here.
I have also offered some ideas that I hope will help others as well.
I love sport cars and have owned & restored them for many years. Now I am to old to do that any more so I will do some small bits here and there to enjoy the feeling I get from bringing a proud car like Pantara, Corvette Shelby etc. and in this case my XK8 back from the sad lack of care of it's last owner.
She is a beautiful girl who needs a small make over and then she will once again strut her stuff and have peoples eye's bugging out.
I am already getting compliments and I have a ways to go before she is done.
