New to Jags (and forums) and let the adventure begin...
I've always loved the series III jag since they were new when I was a teen, well I finally found one that is incredible and bought it on the spot.
1984 VDP V12 with only 9,500km Original. They buffed the paint (at least they didn't paint it, but all original.
It needs some attention, but incredibly clean, only one tiny spot of rust under the right tailpipe.
I plan to do everything to this car starting next year but am hoping for some great advice towards what todo and what not todo.
It runs like a dream at 700rpm and technically needs nothing, the spare has never seen the road! Planning to disassemble, colour change paint properly, should I regasket/de-tune the engine?
Replace the leather due to colour change vs wear, would like to have the wood refinished...etc The first thing I did, sorry to some, but I ordered the leaper from the US because it is 10% of the cost as compared to Toronto.
Hope the pics I attached are visible, here is to 3 days waiting before I can post a question.

Welcome Daryl, she's real pretty! This is the best forum for what you need. We have plenty of Ontario members, if you go to the Canadian forum (the link is in my signature) you can ask the locals where the best places are for parts or service.
Others will be chiming in shortly, I'm sure.

This is my first Jag and I am already in love with 2 times driving. I just bought an 06' XK8 convertible with only 29K miles on it. I would post photos, but I had to take it back for a passenger seat issue. She is a charcoal with dove grey interior and chrome wheels.

Thankyou for the multiple responses/comments/links. Look what happens when I go away for a few days! Anyways, I have posted a number of pictures, and where I found it, in an album that is public as Clamdigger requested. I will start posting a couple questions about the car in the series III section that Graham pointed out. thanks all (no idea what "send trackbacks" to is???
Whow, what a car. It must have been owned by Rip Van Winkle with that mileage !!
Main thing now is to retain the unrusted condition with an extensive rust prevention programme, and to check out the car for roadworthiness, as standing around never did any car any good, so replace all fluids.
The tyres will also be life-expired unless they were recently replaced.
