Default New the Jaguar forums.

Hello everyone, new here to the Jag forums.
My interest is in a new F-type.
I've been in the market for a new Porsche 911 since they and one of the few sports car makers that still make a manual transmission.
I am a purest at heart and really enjoy rowing through the gears and executing a perfect heel-toe when entering a corner.
Just how pure, well I owned an Ariel Atom for 6 years and loved every minute of it. Sold it last year. Got a little tired of having to put a helmet on every time I took it out.
I recently read that Jag will start offering a manual in the F-type and that has got my attention.
I think, like the original E-type, the F-type is one of the best looking, sexiest, exotic looking sports cars manufactured in the last 10 years.
It kind of has the looks of an Aston Martin and a Ferrari rolled into one.
Simply beautiful.
I've never test driven one yet. I just hope it drives, handles, sounds, feels, as good as it looks.
Peace

Welcome to the forum maverick1,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the USA Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
and the Canada Region from herehttps://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/ to find other members in your regions.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
