New to Jaguar Forums
Hello There,
My name is Elliott and I live in Northern California in Eureka and have a 2003 Jaguar S Type with the NA 4.2 Engine. Before and since I got the car I've used The Forum for info and entertainment, so I might as well join up. As a matter of fact, I think that I can safely blame you all for my decision to get a S Type, so I grabbed a bunch of cash and hopped on a bus down to Oakland when I ran across a low mile S Type with the 4.2 V8 on Craigslist. Just being in my sixties, I realized that I'm too immature for a 400HP R model, the V6 is too slow, but the 300HP NA V8 was just right. I've always liked British cars, in the past was a Rootes Group fan, having a Sunbeam Alpine(should have got a Tiger and put it in a box) and a couple of Hillmans, all of them were tough and dependable, pretty much. The best thing about owning a Hillman is saying "Bloody Hillman!!"

A couple of Hillmans - that was brave. One is usually enough to satisfy all curiosity!
It sounds like you've already found your way to the S-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
