Hello there. I am a brand new Jaguar owner having just acquired a 1977 XJ-S in very good condition. I have never owned a British car before and always loved the XJ-S and the XJ look in general. I did some research on my car and according to the VIN, the car is the 172nd car made in 1977. I have a documented and photographed history of the car (no pics to post yet sorry!) and I have been reading like crazy to learn the quirks. Just wanted to say hello!

Yeah, XJSs are quirky....but that's part of the fun if you like tinkering. A sorted-out XJS is a terrific car.
