New Jaguar Owner - Massachusetts - 92 XJS Coupe
Hi All,
I'm very glad to have found you all. This appears to be a very helpful crew to which I hope to contribute as much as I learn.
I finally got the car I've loved since I was a kid, but was too afraid to buy. I finally gave in a purchased a very nice example (still need work - and always will). It is a 1992 Burgundy XJS. Only has 74k miles and some engine work has been kept up with - the timing chain and guides are done, along with some other bits.
It's been sitting for a while where it is resting and there is a small bit of oil below the front of the locomotive engine, which I expected. It didn't look like any cleaning of the floor had been done, so I can only hope that the amount of leaking is almost non-existent.
Glad to "meet" you and I trust I will be conversing with many of you soon.
Thank you
