Greetings from Michigan
Hello,
I am a Small Town Rural Dentist in Michigan's "Thumb"
I have always loved strange and unusual vehicles. My daily driver for about 20 years was a 1964 SAAB (sold it 5 years ago). Doesn't get much stranger than a 2-stroke car.
Bought the Mark I Jag in 1994 as a project to keep me busy in my spare time. We were surprised by a baby boy (we were told we would never have children and had been married 16 years at that time), and the project went on hold. The lad is now finishing his 5th year at MSU and the Jaguar came out of storage. The car needs jacking points, door bottom skins and at least one outer rocker (sill). Paint and interior of course. It is very good for a Michigan car. I sorted out all the mechanics 20 years ago, but the car has sat since then.
Plan to verify good brakes, then bring the engine back to life gradually. Then I can see how bad the Auto Trans leaks oil after sitting so long.
I never restore a car to win prizes, only to make them look good and drive well. I don't care about show points or awards. I prefer to drive as many miles as possible. Once the salt gets washed off the roads, I put away the Toyota FJ and start cruising in the Triumphs until late Fall. The Jaguar will give me one more choice to rotate through driving. So far, I seem to have the only TR-3, TR-6 or TR-7 in this County. I believe mine to be the only vintage Jaguar in the County. The Isetta,,,, who knows as those tend to be everywhere and hidden in sheds and large boxes.
Looking forward to gradual progress on the jag. Will try to post some images.

Hello, Stephen,
I don't think you're the only one here who isn't after show points. Many of us only want our Jags to run well and look good doing it.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
