Smile New to Jaguar, S-Type R 2005

Bought my first Jaguar, an S-Type R 2005 silver with black interior, super clean. Has 107k miles and runs beautiful, looking to really enjoy it, and have some basic questions. MPG is 12, so looking for advice how to improve mileage, also want to put new tires, so open to suggestions.

Congratulations. I am hunting a similar but lower mileage S-Type R. The more I have read and learned about them the more I have grown to appreciate them.

Enjoy your very special find.

Got my car checked out today, turns out all readings were within acceptable tolerance. Anyways, the technician reset the trip odo, the car is getting between 15-17 city. I am really happy about that, I should have reset it but anyways this car runs beautiful and that's why I couldn't understand it was getting 12-13mpg.
