Default New Jersey owner

Greetings,

I'm a new owner from northern NJ. We just agreed to acquire a nice, low mileage base F-type. The car is excellent.

Despite it being a base model, it has a load of 'upgrades'...the first user was a Jaguar executive so it has a few nice extras.

I'll be looking for a recommended service shop, either independent or dealer (closest is Madison Jaguar). I want to make sure all recalls are complete, and perhaps update the software on the Meridian sound system. (I saw the very Loooong topic on that!)

Looking forward to interfacing with everyone. (I'm a valued contributor to several other Marque forums of cars that I own.)

Warm welcomes...thank you!

When I pick up the car next week, I'll update the pics.

Of course, I'll be LOL

I'm a 'hands-on' owner, so all DIYs are appreciated...but I know that with modern autos there are often operations (like updating firmware of different components) that are best left to professionals who can amortize the costs over many vehicles.

Stay tuned, as I assimilate the information on the Forum.

BTW, (no EDIT button observed, I probably need more posts) a quick perusal of the "HOW TO" guides gives me the urge to visit an IKEA. So many pictures, so little time...

Morris County (Roxbury township, to be precise).

Any members visit either the Cars & Caffe (Bergen) or Cars & Croissants (Morris) gatherings? Would be a good place to meet folks, I've been to both...

PS: FIVE POSTS = EDIT button.

Thanks...

As I said, I probably didn't have enough posts ...and I was right. The EDIT button appeared after my 5th post. (I had wanted to add that wry comment within seconds of pressing the SUBMIT button for Post #7)
