My name is James, and just today I drove my new-to-me 70k miles 2004 X-Type back to NJ from Massachusetts.

I've been researching this purchase for about a year, and finally found this pristine base model BRG / tan interior 5 speed - and I love.

This forum has already been an invaluable source of information for my purchase so thanks!

Lastly - recommend adding a signature to your profile by clicking the User CP link in the upper left - include model and year to ensure best response to questions you may have.

Your research here means you won't need a link to the X-Type tech section. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
