I wanted to drop a quick line and introduce myself. I recently acquired a gently used 2003 XK8 Coupe that I plan to use as a daily driver. I have spent some time researching this model, and I have to say the collective knowledge of this forum has been a major contributor to my decision to pursue this project. I would consider myself an intermediate home mechanic, having performed mostly repair/replacement type jobs on various cars over the years. I am in the general Washington, DC area, Eastern US.

I ended up picking up this car a couple hundred miles from home, and taking my 10 year old son with me as a "copilot". That trip has to count as one of the better memories of my life. Highly recommended. Best to all.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
