Default New to Me 2002 S Type R

Hello from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Purchased former Florida car last November.

A few problems which this and another Jag forum helped with.

Just trying to sort out an a/c glitch. Nearest dealer is half an hour away, so being cheap, l rarely see them.

Have purchased the "back alley" version Mongoose in order to re- program keys but have not been brave enough to use yet.

Btw could not locate a "thanks" button mentioned in the administrator's initial post.

Hi and welcome from a fellow Canadian, Ontario resident and S-type owner. We were in your neck of the woods just last week visiting family and friends.

If your car is the supercharged 4.2L V8 version, it would be a 2003 model year or later.

I'd be very leery of going near the HVAC system with a mongoose tool. We've some pretty painful stories lately.

Welcome to the forum. I was in Hamilton and Brantford last week doing the tourist thing and catching up with family. Lots of nice things to see in your region.
