Hi all. I'm from Orange City Florida. My wife owns a 2003 x type 2.5 thats been giving me headaches since the radiator cracked last spring. I've replaced the radiator put in a new fan assembly with the new style speed control module. Replaced the coolant temp sensor, water pump, and thermostat. The fans will not turn on unless I hard wire it to run constantly which I did so she could take it out for a ride. While she was out it started to overheat on her. I'm totally stumped. I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to car repairs but most my experience is with american cars (which some consider this to be since Jaguar was owned by Ford at the time) but this ones got me pulling my hair out. As far as I can tell the head gasket is fine. No coolant in oil no problems with the way the car runs (other than the overheating)Any help would be greatly appreciated.
