possibly the best description of this griffith 400 is pop or pile of parts that's been accumulating since '99,
the rolling chassis came from england since the doner was more air than metal,
a torsional rigidity test showed that chassis was less than 400 lb-ft/inch degree, a chassis designed recently with grape is a tad stiffer at 14,000 lb-ft/inch degree,
the trans connects directly to the 8.8 ford irs diff via a custom flex joint,
the frame mach up is stalled till an 8.8 is purchased and that's stalled till more is known about 8.8 axles choices,
a 347 is currently being built at a local shop for this project,
hopefully this 400 will be completed this winter so the very tired griffith 200 can be retired from autox,
