Hello. Christian from California. Long time Jaguar enthusiast. Owner of 1991 Jaguar XJ6 sedan in Silver Frost with Isis Blue interior with 45,000 ORIGINAL miles! Sold new and pre-owned Jaguar's as a dealer for many years here in California. Visited the factories in the UK twice when I was in the business (now in residential real estate with Sotheby's) My beautiful Jaguar was sold new here in Newport Beach. I am the 2nd owner since 10K miles and bought it from the original owner about 12 years ago. It has been my baby and mostly garage kept. If I don's say so myself, its probably one of the most pristine XJ40's you'll come across. Thought I'd introduce myself and connect with other Jaguar enthusiasts.

Hi ChristianB,

Welcome! Your '91 sounds like an amazing example! When you get a chance, we'd love to see some photos!

I'll see you around the XJ40 forum!

Cheers,

Don

Thanks all for the welcome! Some of you requested pics of my XJ40. I just uploaded some to my garage (new to forums so, unsure if that was correct area or not?)

You weren't kidding. That's superb.

Looks better than my XJ40 did twenty years ago!

Thank you! I bought it from an older gentlemen 12 years ago when it only had 10k original miles. He had some medical issues and his wife was too afraid to drive it herself so, it sat in their garage for many years. They were my next door neighbors and knowing I worked for Jaguar at the time, asked me if I wanted to purchase it. I jumped at the opportunity! For many years it was my garage queen only putting on just a couple hundred miles each year until about 5 years ago when I started driving on a daily basis. Aside from a couple small issues here and there, she has been wonderful!! odometer just turned 45,000 miles. No bad for a 23 year old, eh?
