Hi trying to follow the theme to be a good member, well here goes,

I'm 52 years old and live in Thirsk in North Yorkshire. I've been interested in cars since I was a kid and have owned so many have lost count.

My main passion is restoring old cars and have done, MG's, TR's, Triumph Stags Landrovers and the like. My current Stag which I've owned for 25 years or more so best converted car in the 1995 Ipswich Triumph Stag day.

I have a son who is 17 and doing an engineering and HGV apprenticeship. He is also into cars and currently on with a full rebuild is a 110 Landrover.

Latest ride, just bought a 2000 XjV8 4.0L. It's only done 80,000 miles with full service history. It's got a blown auto box but everything else is mint. I intend changing it to a manual for no reason than something to do. I'll post a separate thread on this as need some help with the flywheel. Got everything else sorted.
