Just wanted to say hi. New member that is trying to help a friend that has a 1953 xk120. trying to figure out what this head might be. Possible year and make. The letters and numbers on the head near the #1 spark plug are KE7593-8. Could this be the original head or possible something newer.

Welcome.

A quicky repost in the "XK12/140/150" section will get you sorted.

Welcome to the forum 2pchall,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK120/XK140/XK150 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Northwest Region forum by following this link US Northwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
