Hello everyone. I purchased a 2002 XJR a couple of months ago. Kind of a bucket list car for me and I will be turning 50 in a couple of months so let's call it a present to myself.

I did lots of research on XJR's before buying one. I found the most useful information here so I want to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge as it helped me make an informed decision.

Right now I have he cam covers off because one of them had a small drip and I wanted to take a look at the tensioners. They are the second generation and have virtually no guide wear or cracks, but I may replace them anyway while it is apart.

I had a business associate that had an XJR and I have wanted one ever since so I am excited to get it out on the road in the spring.

Welcome to the forum AudioBob,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link US Southern Midwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
