I want to thank the forum for helping me with the used 2002 2.5 X-Type 5 speed straight shift I bought for my daugther to learn to drive on. When I bought the car the drivers side hood latch would not open. I ended up taking the grill out and after going to a dealership and looking at the catch on a X-type, I was able to open the hood and repair the cable issue. It had fallen out of the holder. Thanks from Georgia.
