Hello, I'm Mark and I have had several British cars over time, but I just bought my first used Jaguar ~ 3 months ago. It's a 2001 XKR and I intend to do most of my own work on it....so I will need help! I have already replaced the alternator which was a learning experience but went along fine. I now have the code 1647 to deal with. From this forum I have read about replacing the responsible sensor, but not on the XKR, so any help or warnings would be appreciated.
