Hello to All

i am a new member who has been driving and wrenching on sports cars my entire life. I bought a 1965 Austin Healy sprite at 17. I had to learn how to fix myself or walk. Various other German and British sports cars though out the last 50 years. I currently own a 1996 Porsche 993 that i have mechanically restored. Just finished a complete restoration on an MGB. Picture attached.

Its a dream of mine to complete a restoration of a Jaguar E type. For economics probably a series II, coupe. Joined the forum to listen and learn.

Thank You.

Welcome to the Forums.

I know that "fix it or walk" well. I did the same with my MK7 Jag waaay back.

Good luck with the E.

Oooh, the Sprite and not the Midget.
I knew someone who called all of them Spridgets.

Welcome to the forums Gjbacci,

Superb standard of restoration on the MGB.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/e-type-xk-e-59/ to the E-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums and good luck in your search for a suitable E-Type project.

Graham
