Hi - I'm new on here. I have a 2001 XKR convertible. The passenger seat module is broken. Most functions work, except for "recline forward". "recline back" still works. I've removed the module and can see the broken etch at the edge. Probably damaged by the plastic clips in the housing. Cover is damaged in the "usual" way. The module is LJE2160AB. These are as rare as hen's teeth, I think.

From what I've seen in various threads, I can use a replacement - LNC2160AD. From what I can tell these are compatible, but don't have memory functions. (My vehicle doesn't have them either, so ok.)

I'll post the outcome.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

My car is fixed! I tried to order a LNC2160AD replacement seat module, as others have suggested in other threads. I received a LNC2160AE unit, but decided to give it a go. Had to change the mounting hardware, but other than that the unit works just fine. (But my car does not have the memory feature, so I can't attest to that part of it.)

Thanks to the forum for pointing me to this solution.
