Whats up I'm Jay and I just became a new first time owner of a Jaguar. I bought it from a co-worker its a 2005 Jaguar X-type AWD with 219000 (highway) miles. It is decent condition and drives surprisingly strong. I am happy to be a member as will new advice to gain knowledge and insight from the Jaguar community.
This is the car with the oil leak isn't it. All Jaguars like to mark their territory, some leak more than others. Members of our X-type section will be able to tell you if your leaks excessively.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
