Hi, my name's Dave. I'm from Northern Indiana. I enjoy track days and long walks on the beach.

Jokes aside, I work for a performance parts manufacturer and have been a car nut since the age of 16. I had recently been looking for a slightly luxury fun car to travel with the girlfriend from winery to winery on the weekends that I could occasionally take on a track. I discovered the F-Type and have been obsessed ever since. I'm a member of the SCCA. For several years, I ran a 350Z and eventually took the championship in my region for the street prepared class. Because of my job, I have been lucky enough to crew and sponsor a handful of pro race teams in IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and Pirelli World Challenge. The highlight of that hobby got me into being a part of an Audi R8 team and actually got to work the Daytona 24 hour race a few years back when we took 2nd place in the GT class. Beat out by the Weathertech R8. Aside from cars, I'm hunter, an equestrian and a history nut, specifically war history in the European theater from WWI through WWII.

I picked up a 2014 F-Type V6 white roadster. It happened to have an Eventuri intake on it. May have more, but I'm learning the car as I go.

Future plans? Many. I've already ordered the Mina Upper intake tube kit as well as the carbon dash kit and the Velocity AP trans tune, as well as a few small things like buttons for the interior to replace the worn park and stop/start switch. I'm hoping to order Velocity's engine tune and pulley kit soon, but I want to verify if the car is already tuned or not. Followed up with a pair of high flow cats to move the exhaust a little quicker and add some growl to the car.

Welcome to the forums Dave,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
