Hello everyone,

My name is Nathan and I've been active-duty Air Force for about 5 years now. I'm 23 and I'm currently stationed in eastern Florida. Previously I was stationed in Germany for 3 years and fell in love with European cars. My father and uncle both had x300 series Jaguars, so I grew up seeing what electrical system failure was lol. Regardless of both of their Jags ending up as scrap I decided to follow in their footsteps and purchased a mint condition (cosmetically) 2001 XJ8. As I had anticipated it came with a few issues and I'm looking to gain insight from this community as I learn how to fix and maintain her myself.

Hello, Nathan,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Your Jag was actually built under Ford's ownership of the company, and should therefore be far more reliable than some of the Older models.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
