I have a 2005 “rolling restoration” 4.2L XJ8 that’s also my daily driver.
I’ve had the car for nearly two years and so far:
Gearbox rebuild.
Front and rear brakes (I did myself)
Front subframe and new suspension replaced.

I am Tony from England.
A retired Schoolmaster (teaching Physics and IT)
Present Cars: 2003 X-Type 2.1L petrol automatic, done under 70,000 miles but now in limp mode with Gearbox Error. Also drive my wife's Toyota Proace Verso WAV
Past Cars: Learnt on a Singer Gazelle, then my own A40 Mk1, MG Magnette, Hillman Hunter estate, Mazda 323 estate, several Renault Scenics and a Seat Alhamba (lovely car)
