New member- 2nd Jag owner
Hello all,
I forgot to introduce myself in this new member area before already posting a few questions on the forum.
...anyway.
I had a 68 EType (68 2+2) many years ago. Sold it after I had I had it torn down for restoration which I never was able to get off the ground. Also played with a 67 Spit, 72 TR6, 73 MGB and most recently older BMWs and still have a 88 BMW 635CSi.
Just purchased a 95 XJS because as most enthusiasts, we want is to get back to our youth but for me, to get back on the British saddle again. German is ok, but British was my first love.
This new to me 95 XJS 2+2 Convert does need some work and I'm looking forward to that as well as any help on this new model to me. I am seeing that many things still feel "Jaguar" but also that there are some new advancements that have come from the 90's technology as well as EPA and safety regulations. etc.
I am an aircraft mechanic/technician/Engineer...what every you want to call it. I work on planes...I live in CT USA and hope to meet some local folks as well as find some meet ups and clubs local to the northeast USA.
Everybody have a safe, happy and healthy new year!

Welcome to the forum carsnplanes,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
