I am an electrical engineer who works on medical imaging equipment by day and a car affection ado who has owned and worked on a myriad of different cars by night. I currently have a 2001 Jaguar XJ8 and am completely stumped on a repair issue. I found this sight via the net.

You can get a shop manual on CD on E-Bay for under $15. I got one for my SJ6 for $12 and it has 8 volumes

CharcoalJag:

We're glad to welcome you to the most helpful auto forum on the internet.

Hint: If you need help on an issue, you'll get more detailed and quicker return messages if you post any OBDII problem codes.

We need a electrical engineer on the forum to translate Jaguar electrical schematics into plain English. They're more than complicated.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
