WOW !!!! and wire wheels too!!!
Good morning from Yuma to fellow Jag owners.

Having mastered most of the quirks and weirdness of a 1976 MGB, I decided to delve into the wonders of Jaguar. I had a 3.8 Mk II years ago and probably should have learned a lesson - but I took the plunge and bought a pretty nice 1986 XJ6 series 3. The car is machanically mostly rebuilt, runs well and has no major issues. Of course, it has minor electrical issues - and you'll be seeing some posts about those very shortly. We are enjoying our new baby and looking forward to taking it out to events we can make. Members of the Tucson British Car Registry and they have many events through the year.

Looking forward to meeting many of you and relying on your help as I proceed to love my XJ

Welcome to the forums Dave,

Good to have you with us. Your XJ looks great.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum with the fuel gauge issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Dave,
*Very* nice example of Xj6! There are just some cars that are worth whatever pain is involved.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
