Howdy Jag Forum Folks,
So I am new to the forum, but not new to Jags or at least XJ40's. I currently own a 1994 XJ12 as my weekend driver and I've had it for about 2 years. My previous Jag was a 1988 XJ6 and it was my daily driver for about 7 years and my round trip was over 60 miles each day. I really enjoyed the XJ6, but it was time to drive something a little newer in my full combat daily commute to work. I'm not one to be afraid of jumping in to a big project and Jags don't scare me. I've had enough variety of cars over the years that I can really appreciate what makes them unique and special. I've attached a couple of pictures of the XJ12 (before and after).
I have always been super curious about v12s and always did a quick Craigslist search to see if any were for sale. For me they are sort of the Holy Grail for a gear head. Anyway, one day I saw one not far from my home and it needed to be checked out. To jump to the end of the story, I became the proud owner of a '94 XJ12 with 86k miles and 6 years of barn dust and rodent damage for $900. My wife already knew I was crazy, but she also has confidence in me.
I look forward to being a regular visitor/contributor to the forum.
My other cars are:
2003 Saab 9-5 wagon (going to my daughter very soon),
2006 Cadillac DTS (wife's car)
1968 Cadillac Deville convertible (had since high school 33 years)

Welcome neighbor. That's a pretty good attitude. I've done plenty of big restoration projects and they still scare me. I like to dip my toe in the water and check the temperature before I jump in. Not afraid I'll drown, but my toe has proven inaccurate at times and I've gotten quite a chill.
