hey foruMs...

I am Robb from CalifOrnia, I own a 2011 XKR 175,... yep 1 out of 175 made and it is a beast. I don't live in SoCaL but NorCaL and the nearest Jag dealership is 45 miles from my home. I love cars and currently own a 1969 Pontiac Firebird that I have had for over 33 years, I also have a 1985 Porsche 928S 5.0L 32 valve with 5 speed, and a 2003 GMC 4WS.... yes a 4WS .... 4 wheel steer, I ordered it from the factory and it turns heads just as fast as it makes a U Turn. Pics below

4WS? I wanted that on my '04 Silverado 4x4 crew-cab 2500 but it was such an expensive option I gagged! I did without it but am very envious! I'd love to see that in action some time.

Er, back on topic: Welcome to the forum, Robb. I am also in North California, over in the backwoods of Mendocino County. My daughter also drives a Jaguar and lives closer to you.

Welcome Robb,
That's a beautiful XKR you've got. When I got mine about 5years ago, I set about adding the bits and pieces to make it look like an XkR 175, and I still like those additions. Enjoy, and if you're ever in So Cal, let us know, we can get together and have a beer. There are several of us down here who get together with our XKRs. And of course, you should come down in April for the Queen's English Car show.

That Porsche must be a fun to drive car though no where near as modern and tight as your XKR. I've tracked mine a number of times, and it's well composed and performs admirably, certainly easier to get around the track than my '72 Pantera.

Enjoy!
