New S-Type Owner here...
Greetings, All: I have been lurking on these pages for a while prior to recently acquiring a 2003 S-Type, 3.0, Zircon/Dove, with the “premium package”. As a side note, I was raised with Jags in the family when I was a youngster, a MK-VII M and later on a MK-IX, but as an adult have been a Mercedes driver; I currently own a W211 E500.Despite the criticism of Messrs. Clarkson, May and Hammond, I appreciate the “retro” look of the S-Type. The car I picked up has 104K miles on it, but was very well maintained, with little of the usual “deferred maintenance” encountered in a used car of somewhat advanced age.One thing that has really surprised me is that a couple of people (strangers in fact) have come up to me in parking lots and complimented me on the looks of the car; that has never happened with a Mercedes!The guidance already received from the forum is much appreciated. I still have much to learn about this car though, so I am sure that I am bound to ask a stupid question or two.

As you've already found your way to the S-Type forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
