Hello from Ventura California!
I've used this terrific forum to help me learn about and decide to purchase my first Jaguar. You guys are great!
She's a 2004 XK8 Convertible in British Racing Green with a Tan interior and top. I just got her with only 48000 miles.

Welcome to the forum CE2 JAG,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I'm looking forward to driving my new 'girlfriend' for a long time!
I think she's a keeper - and my wife likes her too!

Just for reference - I just sold my last "girlfriend' - 2011 BMW 335i Convertible - Crimson Red with saddle leather.
I bought her with 32K miles and she was nearly perfect.
The dual turbo and convertible hard top were magnificent! However she ate a main bearing out of her first engine and a rod bearing out of her second engine. Luckily, I bought the best Alpha aftermarket warranty and they replaced it all. Owned her 2 years and only drove 6000 miles. Most of the time she was in the shop.
My wife ended up hating that car and wouldn't ride any further than we could UBER home. We called the BMW the readheaded bitch. Bad girlfriend!

Cheers !

Welcome, I adore cars in British racing green - that was the color of my last auto love - a 2005 Mini convertible

Welcome to the forums.
Yikes! That was some bad luck.
The first Jag I ever sat in was racing green. Nice color.

CE2 JAG, welcome to the forums and, ooo... BRG! I'm so jealous! I tried very hard to find a 2003-06 XK8 coupe in BRG but after months of intensive quest gave up and settled for a black one. I used to live in your area and was driving an XK-150 then, many years ago.
