Hi All, great community here. I recently purchased a 1999 XK8, what a blast to drive with the top down! It has 48k miles, I'm the second owner. Hope to share some of my experiences as I learn more about the car.

Hi Rick, thanks! Yesterday I took her up to Kings Mountain State park. A wonderful drive to say the least.

Welcome dave, pleasure having another XK8 owner tooling around the forums. lots of good technical and just plain off-the-wall stuff you'll find easy to participate in.

H20boy, I do believe that the west can rival the NE roads given our many mountains that make most of the nations mountain ranges look like rolling hills!

Charlotte is actually SE. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a very nice drive.
